1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using T.A.R.S. ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TARS is an iOS application that provides a remote control interface for OpenClaw AI agent instances. The App connects to your self-hosted OpenClaw device over a Tailscale VPN tunnel. TARS does not provide AI services directly — it is a client for your own infrastructure.

3. Requirements

To use TARS, you need:

• An iPhone running a supported version of iOS.
• A self-hosted OpenClaw instance accessible over Tailscale.
• A Tailscale account with the TARS device and OpenClaw device on the same tailnet.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Your OpenClaw instance and any actions performed by your AI agents.
• The security of your Tailscale network and device credentials.
• Any commands you approve or send through the App.
• Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

5. No Warranty

TARS is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Krafty Apps LLC does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all OpenClaw configurations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krafty Apps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages from AI agent actions, data loss, or service interruptions.

7. TARS Channel Plugin & Push Notifications

During setup, TARS provisions a lightweight channel plugin on your OpenClaw instance. This plugin runs entirely on your own device and enables your OpenClaw agents to deliver messages to the TARS app. When an agent sends content to the TARS channel, the plugin buffers the message on your device and triggers a push notification to wake the app. The actual content is delivered securely over your Tailscale tunnel — not through the push notification itself.

Push notifications are generic alerts that let you know your OpenClaw has content waiting for you. They contain virtually no user data — no message content, conversation text, or personal information is included in the notification payload. Push notifications are delivered via OneSignal, which acts solely as a delivery relay. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

8. Subscriptions & Purchases

TARS may offer a free trial and/or subscription through Apple's App Store. Payment, renewal, and cancellation are managed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

9. Intellectual Property

TARS, its design, code, and branding are the property of Krafty Apps LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
